My only disappointment with this was that I expected it to be a bit stronger and higher in Vit N than it was. I wouldn't even argue with reviewer,"Ecdycis 07/29/2012" on his "Menthol sensation", I know, it doesn't sound good but it's different and wonderful. A cold smoke, very enjoyable, especially (I imagine) in a cold winters day when you drink a smoky Islay Scotch. This is a superb blend of all those who experienced latakian mixtures. This is a top shelf blend worthy of a try by any latakia lover. Third mistake: Turkish is absolutely useless and this is not an oriental blend! However, to me, this blend is terrific. Of course I recognize that there are some people whose tongues are so scorched and their palettes so brutalized by lat bombs, that they will gladly go down with this ship. Needless to say, the Latakia dominates from beginning to end, but it is not entirely one-dimensional. A Latakia lovers stand by for me. Medium to strong nic hit with absolutely zero bite. Burns even and smooth giving a flavorful and creamy smoke all the way through. That being said, I wouldnt recomm end this to a Latakia newbie, I think itd be way too much. Surprisingly it is only medium strong. Presentation: A hearty, dark dense block. The smoke is dense and is rich with the incense like flavor and aroma of latakia and orientals. The smoke is smoothe and leaves a cool yet warm creaminess on your palette for hours afterward. I like to smoke upon occasion - not something I break out often but when I do I really enjoy it. However, I didn't find the same results in smaller pipes or even my briars so I might have just had an off day. I've been perfectly happy smoking it consistently and plan on getting lots more.
