Ashley and Jeffrey originally hired me just for an engagement session, but we clicked so well that they asked me to travel to Pittsburgh, PA to photograph their glamorous 1920’s inspired wedding. Held at the Frick Art & Historical Center, the special ceremony was led by the same pastor who married Ashley’s parents more than 30 years ago. Jeffrey’s expression upon seeing Ashley for the first time as she walked down the aisle was priceless. The speakeasy cocktail hour included flappers serving appetizers, a live jazz band and signature drinks from the era. The reception took place in a stunning draped tent and all the details were incredible, from crystal chandeliers to gold sequin linens. My favorite feature was the custom-built live-ivy wall decorated with ornate gold mirrors. It was truly a spectacular day. So happy for these two who now have the most adorable daughter, Charlotte! Can’t wait to photograph that little one soon!
